One hundred years service in the heart of Chiba

Since its first establishment in 1917 as a small clinic by Dr. Zenjiro Inoue, the late-professor of Chiba medical school, the Inoue memorial hospital has been in service for more than 100 years as the key medical point of the area. It has been located in the center of Chiba-city, close to JR Chiba station and the main business district of the city. The Inoue is now equipped with state-of-the-art medical devices including digital X-ray systems, CT(computer tomography), MRI(magnetic resonance imaging) and SPECT system (nuclear medicine), blood auto-analyzer etc. We have more than 50 medical doctors specialized in cardiology, hematology, gastroenterology, rheumatology, neurology, surgery, orthopaedics, ophtalmology, urology, dermatology, diagnostic radiology, and rehabilitation, collaborating together to provide best medical care for the people from all areas of Chiba prefecture. The number of outpatients visiting the Inoue was more than 118,000 in 2016. We also provide standardized medical examination service (Ningen Dock) for more than 30000 people each year at our medical check-up center. Consultation Hours

1.We are open from Monday to Saturday morning and closed on Saturday afternoon, Sunday and national holidays

2.Please note that reception hours differ among each clinical departments (see below)

For your first visit

1.Please bring your Japanese national health insurance card for registration.

2.If you have other private or travel insurance, please bring these documents.

3.Please register at the counter #1 or #2 on the ground floor.

4.If you have a referral letter or any other documents regarding your illness please present it at registration.

5.After registration please follow the instructions of the staff and go to the reception of each clinical department.

6.Please note that all first visit patients without appointment will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis. If you have a condition that requires immediate consultation, please let us know in advance.

Revisiting

1.If this is your revisit and you have an appointment with your doctor, please directly go to the reception of the department.

2.Please give your appointment card to the staff at the reception.

3.If this is your revisit but you do not have any appointment please ask at the #1 or #2 counter on the ground floor for assistance.

4.Please note that all patients without appointment will be treated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Payment

1.After consultation and examination, please bring all documents to #5 counter (casher) on the ground floor.

2.Pay the bill in cash. We are sorry that we are unable to accept any credit card at the moment.

3.After payment we will give a receipt and a prescription of your medicines if there is any.

4.If you are coved by private or travel insurance for your illness, please pay up in front, and contact your insurance for reimbursement of the charges.
