In the department of urology, we practice medical care for overall urological symptoms such as difficulty of urination, pain during urination, pus from urethra, feeling of residual urine, frequent urination, urine leakage, and hematuria (bloody urine). As aging of the population progresses, the number of patients with the prostate disease such as benign prostate hypertrophy and prostate cancer is increasing. We are very much proud of providing professional surgical care including pre- and post-operative management for these prostate diseases at our department. Early stage prostate cancer can be removed within a short operative time and this allows many of patients to start walking and having meals on the day after the operation.
